From its beginning in 1966, the Kitchener Minor Girls Softball Association (KMGSA) has had a primary focus to provide a fun, competitive and safe sports environment for the young ladies of our community and help develop them develop a passion for the game of softball. On behalf of KMGSA and its board of directors, I would like to thank each and every one of the volunteers that has given and continues to give his/her time to this organization. This great group of volunteers includes all the coaches, instructors, administrators and board members who work tirelessly to keep the various KMGSA programs running.
Additionally, without the support of the City of Kitchener and local businesses, KMGSA would not be able to provide the programs we currently do for girls aged five through 19. Every year, we face challenges in providing the best experience possible for these young ladies and rely heavily on this support in order to keep costs reasonable for the players. KMGSA, and the hundreds of young ladies we serve (and continue to serve) in our community, thank-you for your ongoing support of girls’ softball in Kitchener.
