The Kitchener Sports Association (KSA) provides funding to minor sports organizations with participants from the cities of Kitchener, Waterloo or the townships of Wellesley, Wilmot or Woolwich. KSA offers the groups financial assistance for equipment and capital projects, fee-assistance programs, travel, hosting and special grants based on need. Individual athletes also receive benefit through KSA’s Scholarship and Athletic Excellence programs.
In the past 20 years, KSA has provided $2,222,682 in funding to local athletes, minor sports groups and charities — over $1,165,000 in the past seven years alone!
KSA raises its money through sales of 50/50 draw tickets at home games of the Kitchener Rangers, hosting bingo sessions at the KW Gaming Centre, special events such as Spin 12 and donations. We, the local sports community and sports-minded citizens, thank you for your support.
